INTRODUCTION

Introduction
Mu Cang Chai is a mountainous district in Yen Bai Province, located about 300 km northwest of Hanoi. From mid-September, the rice fields on the hillsides and terraces here turn a vibrant golden color, attracting thousands of visitors who come to admire and witness the breathtaking beauty of the rice terraces during the autumn season, considered the most stunning in Vietnam.

TOUR PRICE FOR CHILDREN:

  • Children from 1 to 4 years old: Free of charge (Parents will cover any additional costs if applicable)
  • Children 5 years old: 50% of the tour price
  • Children from 6 to 9 years old: 75% of the tour price
  • Children 10 years old and above: Full price

Note:

  • Age is calculated based on the year of birth. For example, a child born in 2015 is considered 5 years old in 2020.
  • Each couple is allowed to bring one free child, additional children will be charged 50% of the tour price.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Mu Cang Chai (Meals: Lunch, Dinner)

  • 06:00 AM: Pick-up by the tour guide and departure for Mu Cang Chai via National Route 32.
  • 11:30 AM: Stop at Nghia Lo Town (Yen Bai Province) to enjoy local specialties like Muong Lo rice and five-colored sticky rice. Lunch break and local cultural exploration.MÙ CANG CHẢI - TÚ LỆ - NGHĨA LỘ - SUỐI GIÀNG
  • 01:00 PM: Continue the journey to Mu Cang Chai, passing through picturesque towns, terraced fields, tea hills, and rubber plantations.
  • 03:00 PM: Stop at Khau Phạ Pass for rest and photo opportunities. This is the longest pass on National Route 32, stretching over 32 km and standing 2,100 meters above sea level.
  • 05:30 PM: Arrive in Mu Cang Chai, check-in at the homestay, rest, and enjoy dinner. Free time to explore the town at night.

Day 2: Mu Cang Chai – Tu Le – Nghia Lo (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

  • Morning: After breakfast, check out of the homestay and head to La Pan Tan to visit the terraced rice fields. This is one of the most beautiful spots for rice terrace viewing, recognized as a national scenic site.
  • Continue the journey through De Xu Phinh, Nam Bung, and Tu Le to admire the majestic terraced fields nestled in the mountains.
  • 12:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant in Tu Le.
  • 05:00 PM: Return to Nghia Lo, check in at the homestay, and have dinner.
  • Enjoy a cultural performance of traditional Thai dances, promising a relaxing and entertaining evening.

Day 3: Nghĩa Lộ – Suối Giàng – Hanoi (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

  • Morning: After breakfast, visit Suoi Giang, the birthplace of the famous Shan Tuyet tea. Enjoy tea tasting and take photos of the beautiful tea hills.
  • Return to the hotel for lunch, check out, and head back to Hanoi.
  • 03:00 PM: Stop for a 20-minute break in Ba Vì to taste and buy local dairy products.
  • 06:30 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, tour concludes. The tour guide will bid farewell, and you can look forward to future trips.
